The Environmental Protection Division (EPD) of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources is pleased to present a new report on the State of Georgia’s Environment. This report contains up-to-date information on what we know, and don’t know, about the current condition of our water, land and air resources. A limited number of printed copies are available to classroom teachers and other educators in Georgia.

Georgia's 13th annual Outdoor Classroom Symposium will be held on Friday, October 30, 2009 at Chase Street Elementary School in Athens, GA. This year’s theme of "Growing Fertile Minds" will feature sessions on how to create specific types of school gardens, how to start farm-to-school programs, and how to use your school grounds to enhance cross-curricular learning.
